It is often the site for people feeding their troubles to the flames written on prayer paper or as part of last rites for an old warrior with no heirs. A line of bricks in the wall that raises the pyre off the ground is also from the original forge in Uhrwerkstadt and has had a phrase from the Oratorio stamped into it. Upon moving to Ragavalli the grooves made by the stamping process has been filled in with gold.
 Taken from an old tradition back in Uhrwerkstadt under Maestro Cecily's rule, every forge in Ragavalli has had its flame first fed by the Hi-No-Kami, and only once the respective forgemaster has passed the trials. The forge was established by Shimizu Akihito out of remembrance of Maestro Cecily.

 In 2017 Ragavalli was hit by several issues at once, cutting it off from the rest of the Tapestry temporarily. A particularly hot summer brought in a drought that made the very canyon brittle. The heat kept people on edge, constantly fending off creatures seeking the water stores and using up those stores for the spontaneous combustion of their dry-born rice, and practices to conserve water drove an issue of inequality among the varied races that called the desert region home. By the time there had been any report of the collapse on the main roadway through the canyon, there had been a strike that prevented them from getting it cleared. The heat wave passed on, and the strike with it, but tensions rose again in the summer unsure if it would be as bad as the previous year. 2018 was an easier time, but the damage to the narrow canyon was too great to be quick work by the giant, unable to work more than two at a time and only during reasonable parts of the day, it would take almost the whole of 2019 to clear away.

 Ragavallians are incredibly disciplined, honor-bound, and community-driven as a people. All of their traditions surround respecting not only those around them, but the nature they survive in. The majority of them take a pacifist route, though the repetition of martial training is included in day to day routines and meditations, making them no push overs.

 By day 4 the youth is ready to create, taking the inspirations of the drug-induced trip to create something they can bring back. For some this is a glass sculpture; requiring careful heating and cooling of sand they find out in the area. For others it might be to forge a dagger, or to carve something. Either way they cannot begin their return until it is complete. On their return another ceremony is held, as well as a celebratory feast. The youth will be required to tell them the story of their experience, introducing their art which will be displayed at the Hi-No-Kami up high in its rafters.
